How many followers do I need to get paid on X?
Fewer than most people think. In our October 2026 sample of 37 creators who take sponsored posts, some had paid posts at around 1,000 followers. Brands look for an audience that replies and trusts you, not a big follower count. A typical quote post paid about $50. Results vary, and ClimbX gets you ready for paid posts; it does not sell them for you.
How much does X pay creators?

Does this go against X policy?
ClimbX uses official OAuth and the X API. X allows some automation, including compliant scheduled posts, but prohibits behaviors such as bulk or indiscriminate following, automated likes, and unsolicited automated replies. We do not recommend auto-follow tools or fully automated account growth. You remain responsible for the content and activity on your account; no tool can guarantee protection from enforcement.
Does ClimbX know my X password?
No. Never. You log in on x.com directly; X gives us a scoped OAuth token. Your password never touches our servers. You can revoke ClimbX's access anytime from x.com → Settings → Connected apps.
How does the 7-day trial work?
7-day trial for $1 with card on file. Cancel before day 7 and the $1 is all you pay. Otherwise it auto-bills $29 on day 8 and every month after that. Yearly billing charges once for the year instead, 2 months free. One click to cancel in Billing, no email needed.
