Is Tweet Hunter Worth It in 2026? Honest Review

Tweet Hunter lists Discover at $29/mo and Grow at $49/mo. Worth it if you will use its viral library, Auto-DMs and CRM; less so for a manual posting habit.

Tweet Hunter is worth it if you will actively use its large viral-post library, scheduling, Auto-DMs and X CRM. Its pricing page lists Discover at $29 a month and Grow, which adds the AI writer, at $49. If you mainly want to write your own posts and schedule them, you will pay for automation you do not use.

Checked September 24, 2026 against Tweet Hunter's official pricing page and homepage, and X's automation rules. Prices are in USD and can change.

What does Tweet Hunter cost in 2026?

PlanListed priceX accountsWhat it adds
Discover$29/month1Viral post library, custom inspirations, tweet and thread scheduling, evergreen posts, 3,000 Auto-DMs a month, auto-plug and auto-retweet, analytics
Grow$49/month5Everything in Discover, 7,500 Auto-DMs a month, the AI writer, the X CRM, paid partnership label
EnterpriseAbout $199/monthUnlimited15,000 Auto-DMs a month, ghostwriting mode, custom-trained AI, AI reply generation, priority support

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and the homepage FAQ promises a 30-day refund policy. The pricing page also runs promotional banners and monthly or yearly toggles with changing discounts.

One caution: the FAQ on Tweet Hunter's homepage still says plans start at $49 and the AI plan costs $99. That conflicts with the pricing page, so confirm the amount at checkout before you enter a card.

What do you actually get?

A large inspiration library

The core of Tweet Hunter is a searchable archive of high-performing posts. The pricing page puts it at over 12 million, while the homepage quotes smaller figures. You search by keyword or handle, exclude terms, and save collections.

Scheduling and automation

Scheduling covers posts and threads with a queue, plus automations: Auto-DM people who interact with a post, auto-plug a link under posts that perform, evergreen reposting of old winners, auto-retweets and thread delays.

AI writing on Grow and above

Grow adds daily AI-written suggestions, a rewriter, a finisher for half-written posts, and thread ideas and hooks. Enterprise adds a custom-trained model and AI reply generation.

Analytics and CRM

Analytics shows top posts, daily follower growth and per-post stats. The CRM on Grow lets you build lists of accounts and engage with posts from those lists.

Who is Tweet Hunter worth it for?

It fits an X-first operator who runs lead magnets, sells a product through DMs, manages several accounts, or ghostwrites for clients. For that person the Auto-DM limits, CRM and multi-account support on Grow do real work every week.

It also suits people who like to browse. If scrolling proven posts in your topic reliably gives you ideas, the library pays for itself quickly.

When is it not worth it?

When you would not use the automations. Much of the plan value sits in Auto-DMs, auto-plugs and evergreen reposts. If you do not run those today, write down what you actually did on X in the last two weeks before paying for them.

When a huge library slows you down. Viral posts from accounts 100 times your size were shaped by an audience you do not have. Browsing them can feel productive without changing what you publish.

When you need AI drafting on a budget. The AI writer starts on Grow, so the fair comparison for AI help is $49, not $29.

Are Auto-DMs and auto-replies safe on X?

They can be, if you follow X's automation rules. X allows automated DMs only when the recipient has clearly asked to be contacted and has an easy way to opt out. X says a follow alone does not count as consent.

X also bans automated replies sent to many users based on keyword searches, and requires prior written approval for AI reply bots. Tweet Hunter's own FAQ warns that mass unsolicited DMs and copy-pasted replies put your account at risk. Use the features for opt-in campaigns, like a freebie post where people reply to get a link.

How does it compare with other X tools?

Our ClimbX vs Tweet Hunter comparison goes through the two workflows side by side, and the Tweet Hunter alternatives roundup covers Typefully, SuperX and Postwise.

The short version on ClimbX, which we make: it is an X-focused growth tool that shows what is working for accounts slightly ahead of you in your niche rather than an all-time viral archive. Cliff, the in-app assistant, helps you draft in your own voice, and you review and edit every draft before it is published or scheduled.

It has no Auto-DMs or CRM. Pro and Agency can auto-plug and auto-retweet your own posts. Plans start at $29 a month, with a 7-day trial.

How to test Tweet Hunter in 7 days

  1. Day 1: search the library for your niche and save 20 posts from accounts close to your size.
  2. Days 2 to 3: write and schedule a week of posts. Count how many started from the library.
  3. Day 4: if you are on Grow, generate AI drafts and count the edits each needs before you would post it.
  4. Days 5 to 7: turn on one automation you would really run and check whether it saves time.

If the library and one automation both earned their place, keep it. If not, cancel before the trial ends.
